These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Yomiru website, applications, and related services. By accessing or using Yomiru, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Yomiru on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts through unauthorized automation, or use Yomiru if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

Yomiru provides discovery, indexing, metadata, personalization, account, and community features for film, animation, comics, and related media. Features may include catalogs, watchlists, progress tracking, schedules, notifications, editorial content, and links or references to third-party sources.

Yomiru may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

You may use Yomiru only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.

• reverse engineer, disrupt, or degrade the service
• use bots or scripts to scrape, bulk extract, or abuse the platform
• upload malware, spam, deceptive content, or unlawful material
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff
• use Yomiru to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• circumvent technical limits, rate limits, or security protections

If you submit comments, profile content, reviews, avatars, or other material to Yomiru, you grant Yomiru a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law or the rights of others. We may remove or restrict content at our discretion.

Yomiru may reference, embed, link to, or interoperate with third-party services. Third-party websites, content, and services are outside Yomiru’s control and may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices.

Yomiru does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, legality, safety, or quality of third-party services or content.

Yomiru, including its software, branding, design, text, graphics, and compiled metadata, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Yomiru.

All third-party names, marks, artwork, and media referenced through Yomiru remain the property of their respective owners.

Yomiru respects the rights of copyright owners. If you believe material available through Yomiru infringes your rights, please send a notice to dmca@yomiru.buzz with enough detail for us to investigate and respond.

We may remove or restrict content, links, or accounts in response to takedown notices, court orders, repeated infringement, or other legal or policy concerns.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or liability for Yomiru or others, or used the service in a fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful way.

You may stop using Yomiru at any time. If you want your account deleted, contact us or use any deletion tools we provide.

Yomiru is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yomiru disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any feature, recommendation, or external reference will remain available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yomiru and its operators, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid to Yomiru in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yomiru and its operators from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Yomiru is established, excluding conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the website, app, or email. Your continued use of Yomiru after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
